With the solidarity that these young women find in meeting and praying with each other in the shadow of the monastery, they are reminded that they are not alone on their journey with Our Lord.

Registration Includes:

- Mass, Confession, prayer with the PCPA nuns, a Eucharistic Holy Hour, talks given by a guest speaker, fellowship, and free time.

- Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner, a tote bag filled with retreat swag and a t-shirt.

 2026 Speakers

Sister Mary Faustina, SsEW

The Sister Servants of the Eternal Word is a contemplative-active community, committed to evangelization through catechesis and retreats. We strive to emulate the ideals of St. Francis and St. Dominic whose complementary missions in their own time served to build up the Church in Truth and Charity.  The Sister Servants run Casa Maria Retreat House and engage in a variety of apostolic activities including family catechesis, Sacramental preparation, and other catechetical missions throughout the diocese of Birmingham and beyond. Our catechesis is inspired by the words of Saint Paul to “teach spiritual things spiritually,” that is to teach those who possess the Spirit through baptism, to understand by the same Spirit, the gifts that they have been given in Him. (cf. 1 Cor 2:9-13)

Father Barry Braum

A priest of the Diocese of Fréjus–Toulon in France, Fr. Braum holds an STL in dogmatic theology from the Pontifical University of St Thomas Aquinas, Rome. Appointed as a Missionary of Mercy under Pope Francis, he continues to exercise this ministry while preaching retreats and offering ongoing formation for priests, seminarians, and religious. His retreat and mission work focuses particularly on promoting Eucharistic adoration and renewing Eucharistic devotion. He previously served as an Assistant Priest at Our Lady of Hope Parish in Whitehall, NY, Retreat Director at the Seminary of the Immaculate Conception in Long Island, NY, and as chaplain to the Tyburn Convent in London. He currently serves as a professor and formator at the Pontifical Beda College in Rome.
